The contractor shall provide the following requirements for the required systems:
One (1) Oligonucleotide cleavage and deprotection oven/chamber shall include the following Salient characteristics:
- Programmable control of chamber temperature of up to 85 degrees Celsius.
- Must facilitate the timed control of reaction conditions.
- Must allow for user control of heat and pressure within the reaction chamber.
- Must be compatible with oligonucleotide cleavage and deprotection via standard methods under a variety of conditions including ammonia-based, ammonia-free, and liquid deprotection.
- Must include input and output gas controls for the reaction chamber.
- Shipping and Installation included.
One (1) Oligonucleotide purification system shall include the following Salient characteristics:
- Must be able to purify at least eight (8) different oligonucleotides per run cycle.
- Must be able to dispense from at least five (5) attached reagent bottles.
- Must automatically dispense reagents to the purification columns or cartridges to facilitate the purification of oligonucleotides.
- Must utilize reusable commercially available oligonucleotide purification columns or cartridges to purify oligonucleotides to high purity and quality.
- Must allow for flexible programming of purification conditions.
- Must allow for desalting, purification and collection of synthetic oligonucleotides.
