New Activation of Hamilton Clinic requiring four (4) new Exam Chairs for replacement of current equipment and increase of Exam rooms in new Building. 4. Scope. Primary Care Exam rooms requiring four (4) new exam chairs for patient appointments/procedures. 5. Specific Tasks. Task #1: Acquisition of The ProGlide 4011 exam chairs present notable benefits for both cleaning efficiency and patient care. Designed with one-step casters, these chairs enable easy cleaning underneath, ensuring compliance with Infection Control Policy. Their enhanced maneuverability also promotes patient comfort during examinations, thanks to features such as one-touch tilt and reclining capabilities. Furthermore, these chairs are equipped to support bariatric needs, accommodating weights of up to 500+ pounds. Task #2: Training to be provided by Biomed on site when Exam chairs are assembled. Task #3: Technical Support supplied by BioMed and Local Engineering. Deliverables: Fort Harrison BioMed staff to assemble, setup and train onsite at the Hamilton Clinic. 6. STATEMENT OF SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Hamilton Clinic, Exam Chairs Dimensions: Equipment needs to fit into a space no larger than 12x12, due to the limited space of the exam rooms. Must fix through a door 4ft wide and will be station on flooring of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) which will require a wheelbase with locking caster system. Required Functions: Hi-low back powered, and overall system powered by normal electrical current of 120v. One-touch wheelbase with locking caster system Hand controller to provide one touch patient positioning with self-leveling arms that allows for positions of Trendelenburg, lithotomy and semi-fowler. Capacity patient weight of 500lbs + The size of the chair should be within the parameters of no more than 26H, 28W and 80L, the base should have wheels to allow for easy moveability for cleaning under the equipment. The chair requires to be made of PreFixx® Protective finish for enhance infection prevention initiatives. The exam chair needs to have a one touch lift and lay for both hands and feet, be able to hold bariatric patients in a sitting position with options with a Hi-low back to lay flat with hand and foot controls and one touch patient positioning with self-leveling arms, which will allow for various patient care and procedures.
