The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. DESCRIPTION OF WORK VACCHCS Visalia Clinic has exterior water feature and requires regular maintenance and upkeep for duration the VA is leasing the space. Scope: The responding vendor shall provide regular maintenance, annual cleaning, and quarter legionella testing that adheres to our VA Water Safety Program including remediation solutions for positives results. The vendor must be located within 10 miles of the VA clinic. Must be able to respond within 4 hours to attend to water safety concerns when arise. Vendor operations must not interfere with patient care. The work performed is outside the clinic and does not require inside clinic so work can commence during business hours. Anytime, access is needed to clinic work with VA for schedule and access. Any personnel on site shall notify the Nurse Managers upon arrival at the Visalia Clinic. The contractor must provide background checks of employees. Badging for access is not required. Place of Performance: Work is to be completed at the VACCHCS Visalia Clinic, located at 500 N Santa Fe St, Visalia, CA 93277. Period of Performance: The base year is a monthly maintenance schedule, annual cleaning and quarterly legionella testing. The contract is proposing for options to continue 4 additional years.
