HQ AETC/SG Command Surgeon has a requirement for an Aerospace Medicine Specialist Physician (Flight Surgeon) in support of the Flight Medicine and Physical Standards Branch (SGPF). This includes preparing and delivering slide presentations on matters pertaining to the application of physical standards, certification action, and waiver consideration delegated to this branch by the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. SGPF also performs data input and updates to an exclusive government provided database on medical certification, waivers, and cases of attrition from training, secondary to medical issues and standards. The Physical Standards Branch serves as the focal point for operational risk analysis for the Force Development Exception to Policy board process which has been delegated to the Air Education Training Command Commander (AETC/CC).
