Amendment 001 is to change the requirement for a 24- month warranty on the transfer case to a 12- month warranty and to extend the quotes due date to 2/26/2025.
BLM is seeking quotes to replace the transfer case and transfer case cooler on 7300 SFA 4X4 vehicle. Replacement is needed due to finding metal in the transfer case and having issues switching into four-wheel drive.

Period of Performance is expected to be February 28- March 31, 2025.
WORK MUST BE DONE BY A CERTIFIED INTERNATIONAL (NAVISTAR) FACILITY. Vendor must provide proof of such in their solicitation package.
Services shall include a minimum 12-month unlimited mileage warranty on the transfer case, as well as a minimum 12-month warranty on componentry including the transfer case cooler.

8. Basis of Award - Award will be based on price alone. Please provide the total price for the work, including but not limited to; labor, parts, freight for the parts, transportation and transportation insurance. See Evaluation of Commercial Items Clause 52.212-2
9. The Company Name, Address, Phone Number, and Contact Person where the repairs will be performed.
10. This vehicle is currently inoperable and therefore the vendor is responsible for transporting the vehicle to the vendor's repair facility. If the vendor's repair facility is within the city limits of Grand Junction or Rifle, CO, or within 10 miles of the I-70 corridor between the two, the BLM will retrieve the vehicle from the vendors facility once repair is complete. If the vendor's repair facility is not within those areas, the vendor will be responsible for the transportation to return the vehicle to 220 Runway Road, Rifle, CO 81650.
11. For transportation requirements, within 5 business days of award, the contractor shall obtain and provide proof of a minimum of $1,000,000 dollars shipping insurance for the retrieval the truck from 2332 I-70 Frontage Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81505, and return of the truck to 220 Runway Road, Rifle, CO 81650 (if applicable) and shall include the following statement within their bid package: "Any and all damages incurred from shipping, up to and including total loss will be repaired at the expense of the contractor following scheduling requirements of the Government. In the event of a total loss, the contractor shall be responsible for working with the Department of Interior (DOI), National Fire Equipment Program (NFEP) to specify, order, pay, and deliver to Grand Junction CO a New (unused), BLM Type Four Fire Engine meeting the DOI's current specification requirements".
13. Work shall be done by an International (Navistar) certified facility.

The BLM reserves the right to establish a competitive range and hold discussions after receipt and review of proposals.
Work can begin after award and once a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. For situations where transportation is required, the NTP will not be issued until proof of insurance is provided to the BLM.
