Description: Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called “LLNS”) is seeking sources for the performance of execution in support of LLNS’ requirements.
Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) is issuing a sources sought notice as part of its strategy for the decommissioning and demolition (D&D) of the B212 and LS212 sites located in Livermore, California. LLNS is seeking qualified sources to support its requirements for the execution of waste characterization, waste removal, and final waste disposition activities at the site formerly known as Building 212.
This site, historically utilized as an accelerator and physics research facility, contains subsurface structures, abandoned utilities, and potentially contaminated soil that require careful management and remediation. The objective of this effort is to ensure the complete removal of hazardous materials , subsurface structures demolition , utilities, and hazardous materials abatement and to prepare the site for its future use as a flat unimproved area.
The successful execution of this project will involve a comprehensive approach to addressing projects with legacy issues, development of characterization plans, execution of data-gap sampling, and the formulation of demolition and waste management solutions. LLNS is committed to ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations and seeks partners who can demonstrate expertise in managing complex decommissioning projects. Contractors must possess the necessary contractor qualifications and must be exclusively U.S. Citizens. LLNL seeks capable and knowledgeable firms with NQA1 (or equivalent) certifications and , worked at similar institutions and can meet LLNS prequalification requirements.
