The Columbia VA Medical Center anticipates a requirement to provide Replacement Exhaust Fans at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (RHJ VAMC). The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center 109 Bee Street Charleston, SC 29401-5799. Scope of Work: The contractor will provide all supervision, labor, equipment (including parts), and materials needed to replace (2) rooftop exhaust fans capable of supplying at least a design of 3,000 cfm s each, the associated duct work, electrical and disconnects at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (RHJ VAMC). All work performed shall be accomplished in accordance with the manufacturer s instructions including, but not limited to, International Mechanical Code, VHA specs and Joint Commission. Work will be in accordance with this Statement of Work and will consist of the following: 1. Installation of (2) new rooftop exhaust fans capable of at least a design 3,000 cfm s each via a crane capable of lifting safely. 2. Removal of existing ductwork 3. Installation of new sealed ductwork 4. Removal of existing electrical and disconnects. 5. Installation of new electrical wiring and disconnects for new fans. 6. Removal of lock out tag out and re-energize. 7. Start-up and testing of exhaust fans to ensure proper operation.
