Statement of Work Guide 1. Purpose and Scope CGC ALDER’s reach in reefer units are plagued with multiple different issues outside of SF and NED capabilities. Civilian KTR shall conduct repairs to each reefer unit, rectify all issues, and return to OEM spec. Civilian KTR shall provide all required parts, tools, and consumables to repair the three systems listed below to restore them to full functionality including condenser/evaporator components, defrost/timers, thermostatic control components, and fully charge all systems insure they are free of leaks. 2. Deliverables and Performance Requirements • Civilian KTR shall provide all required parts, tools, and consumables to repair the three systems listed below to restore them to full functionality including condenser/evaporator components, defrost/timers, thermostatic control components, and fully charge all systems insure they are free of leaks. KTR shall procure and dispose of all hazardous materials IAW all federal, state, and local laws/requirements. • Galley reach in freezer: Evaporator coil ices up coil heater is in-op and defrost timer does not cut in or out heater, condensing unit runs non-stop and icing up evaporator coil. • Salad Bar Reach in Cooler: Unit works and drops temperature to thermowell and reach but runs too long and over cools thermowell and refrigerator. • Wardroom Cooler and Freezer: Unit freezer and fridge work in reverse when operating for short time. Unit fans run separately not allowing proper air flow over evaporator. System performance is unreliable due to suspected refrigerant leaks. 3. Period of Performance Completion before 1JUN2025 4. Location and Method of Performance USCGC ALDER (WLB 216) Coast Guard Sector San Francisco 1 Yerba Buena Island San Francisco, CA 94130 5. Roles and Responsibilities Contractor shall provide all equipment described in paragraph 2. Contractor shall provide a qualified technician for all contractor equipment. Ship will provide qualified personnel to assist as needed for the operation of ship installed equipment. 6. Acceptance Criteria N/A 7. Security and Confidentiality Ship POC will escort contractor and contractor vehicle from base access to the ship. Contractor shall notify ship POC upon arrival. 8. Reporting Requirements KTR shall provide invoice/trip report within one week of completion of contracted work. 9. Legal Compliance N/A 10. Performance Monitoring Contractor will comply with all regulations described in paragraph 2. Additional Considerations Personal must be certified to service installed refrigerant systems/equipment.
