Synopsis: Clothing Alterations for the Colorado Army National Guard Sources Sought
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
As part of its market research, the Colorado Army National Guard is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing services to meet the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.
The Colorado Army National Guard is seeking companies that have the capability to provide alterations for Army Soldier uniforms, Class A and Class B, male and female uniform sets. The contractor will pick up uniforms, provide alterations, and return uniforms to the units/locations as outlined below:
Colorado National Guard intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract for clothing alterations for uniforms for Army National Guard soldiers. Three locations will require services:
- West- Grand Junction, Montrose
- North- Fort Collins, Denver, Windsor, Aurora, Watkins, Fort Lupton, Longmont
- South- Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Alamosa
Requirements:
Vendor will be required to: Size according to Army Regulations for ASU and AGSU
Pick Up uniform Drill weekend
Complete Alterations within 90 days
Return uniform to Unit
Submit by name roster of completed uniforms quarterly
Optional: Vendor will provide pressing and dry cleaning of the uniforms after alteration has been completed
Proposed alterations to be completed:
Provide three options of uniform alterations as follows:
a. Class A (full) Coat, one short-sleeved shirt, one long-sleeved shirt, two trousers or one trouser/one skirt (females only for skirt). This option completes the entire uniform for one Soldier in one iteration.
b. Class B (partial) one short-sleeved or long-sleeved shirt, one trouser or skirt (females only for skirt). This option allows a Soldier to get alterations completed for a minimum uniform due to supply constraints and complete the remaining items at a future date.
c. Class B to Class A (partial - not to exceed one trouser/skirt hem, rank for one shirt and rank/patches/sleeves hemmed for one coat). This option completes the entire uniform in two separate iterations due to supply constraints.
Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which COARNG can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought.
