US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, is seeking interested business sources for a firm fixed price contract for diesel fuel to be delivered to Albeni Falls Dam in Oldtown, ID.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 324110, Petroleum Refineries, and the associated small business size standard is 1,500 employees.
This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work and is for information/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon information received in response to this sources sought announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow up information. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The results of this survey will be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK:
Searching for contractors to deliver diesel fuel to Albeni Falls Dam that will be used to power a rental generator. Anticipate delivering to Albeni Falls Dam approximately 3 times a week for a period of two months (late April to late June). Total volume of fuel will range from 29,000 to 46,0000 gallons. Volume of fuel per delivery will range from 1900 gallons to 3000 gallons. The fuel tank size of the generator is unknown at this time, but the total amount of fuel capacity will be greater than 2300 gallons. An additional fuel tank of at least 2300 gallons is anticipated to be rented with the generator. The address at Albeni Falls Dam is 2376 East Highway 2, Oldtown, Idaho, 83822.
Offerors are requested to respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis with the following information which shall not exceed five pages:
1. Offeror's name, addresses, points of contact, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses.
2. UEI and CAGE. Please confirm if you are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
3. Offeror's business size to include designation as Small Businesses, 8(a) contractors, HUBZone Small Business Concerns, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Businesses. For 8(a) Contractors, please include proposed graduation date from the 8(a) Program.
4. Describe your delivery availability to Albeni Falls Dam. How often are you able to deliver fuel to Albeni Falls Dam? Daily? Weekly? How many gallons at a time?
5. How soon from the date of award could you begin deliveries? How much notice would you want if we needed to change the delivery schedule?
6. If a solicitation for this work became available, would you be interested in submitting a quote?
