Project Information:
The USDA, USFS, Southern Region, Region 8 intends to solicit a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity multiple award task order contract for fence construction, fence maintenance, and fence repair services located at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, which includes but is not limited to:
- FENCE LINE CLEARING & MAINTENANCE
- CONSTRUCTION & REPAIR SERVICE
- REPAIR SERVICE CALLS
- EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICE
- CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HOG BARRIER FENCES
- COST ESTIMATING FOR REPAIRS OR NEW CONSTUCTION METHOLOGY
Description of required services:
The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to inspect, maintain, perform preventive maintenance, repair, and perform emergency repair for the boundary fence and hog barrier fences on the Savannah River Site (SRS) in South Carolina. The intent of this contract is to perform an initial clearing and repair of the boundary fence and to then mitigate the need for major repairs through preventive maintenance and repairs. The contractor must successfully integrate and coordinate all activity needed to execute the requirement(s). The contractor must manage the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification. The contractor must provide corrective action plans, proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of any or all subcontractors. The contractor must seek to ensure customer satisfaction and professional and ethical behavior of all contractor personnel.

The type of set-aside decision to be issued will depend upon the capabilities of the responses to this sources sought announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Economically Disadvantage Woman-Owned Small Business. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUB Zone, EDWOSB and SDVOSB are highly encouraged to participate.
Response Instructions:
Firm's capabilities package responses to this Sources Sought Announcement shall be limited to five (5) pages and shall include the following information:
1. Vendor name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address.
2. Vendor's interest in submitting a proposal when the requirement is synopsized.
3. Vendor's capability to provide similar/same type of work. Provide at least three (3) examples.
4. Firm's Business Size (include UEI #).
