The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086, intends to solicit for a complex and state-of-art Electronic System Infrastructure for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS).
The contractor will provide engineering plan, removal of equipment, install state of the art servers and switches supporting the electronic system infrastructure upgrade. In addition, contractor will coordinate and provide technical support in system programming, process compatibility with the existing monitoring system, communication links with medical and security systems, and technical support to include training of electronic components infrastructure upgrade. The system must also have monitoring and tracing capabilities to pin-point and expedite system or component repairs to prevent interruption to patient care. The electronic system will be the pinnacle electronic system tailored to support immediate and future electronic requirement for the VASNHS. The contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies.
This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer within fourteen (14) calendar days of this publication by contacting John Waldrip via email at john.waldrip@va.gov. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.
