Solicitation number 12505B25Q0076 Preventative maintenance service contract for a Bruker SkyScan 1275 micro-CT scanner Firm Fixed Price Contract is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees and a PSC Code of J066 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Instruments and Laboratory Equipment).

The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract.
Quoters responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of quote shall include the following:
- Price (to include shipping)
- Technical Specifications
- Contractor shall provide completed 1449 agreeing to all terms and conditions.
- Contractor shall provide certification of factory trained engineer to provide service on the Buker SkyScan 1275 micro 1275-CT scanner
- Contractor shall have a neutral or better perforamnce rating.
- Completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3
- The Offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM), the Offeror shall enter “N/A SAM is up to date” in the blank at the end of 52.212-3b(2).
- If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete paragraphs (c) through (v) of this provision.

The basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). "LPTA" means the best value is expected to result from selection of the technically acceptable quote with the lowest evaluated price. The lowest priced quote will first be evaluated for technical acceptability in accordance with the minimum specifications identified. If determined not technically acceptable, it will be removed from competition and the next lowest priced quote will be evaluated for technical acceptability. This will continue until the lowest price quote is determined technically acceptable. Once the lowest priced quote is determined technically acceptable, then a determination of responsibility will be completed. If found responsible, evaluations will be closed and award will be made.
Service: Service shall be performed at Vegetable Crops Research 1575 Linden Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53706.
