The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to complete a base plus 4-year contract that will provide all services as a Community Potable Water Supply Responsible Water Operator for the entire Hines, IL Veteran Hospital Campus which includes Loyola Medical Center and John Madden Mental Health buildings. The vendor will need to have all the necessary equipment, management, labor, travel, tools, materials, and supplies needed to complete this service. Water Supply Operator" means any individual trained in the treatment or distribution of water who has practical working knowledge of the chemical, biological, and physical sciences essential to the practical mechanics of water treatment or distribution and who can conduct and maintain the water treatment or distribution processes in a manner which will provide safe, potable water for human consumption. The contractor must meet all qualifications as determined by State of Illinois. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 221310.
