Synopsis for Solicitation
(TV Programming and technical support for all four TSVRON4 vessels)
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a contract for on board deck Crane winch. The brand name justification will be attached when posted to SAM.gov. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the procurement of Allied Systems TSV4 Narragansett’s deck crane repair parts.
The requirement will be solicited on March 24 2025. The items that will be procured consists of the following TSV4 Narragansett’s deck crane repair parts for intends to award Purchase Order contract for the procurement of the vessels new Braden BRA06778 CH175B-22110-01-1 Winch for the increased weight and stresses of larger/heavier dynamic lifts.
Required Delivery Date: 12 May 2025. Delivery date 10 weeks after award .The replacement winch been procured are one-to-one replacement of the currently installed winch.
The US Navy Carrier Strike Group Force 4 has a requirement to procure TSV4 Narragansett’s deck crane repair parts for a new Braden BRA06778 CH175B-22110-01-1 Winch for the increased weight and stresses of larger/heavier dynamic lifts. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
