Please see Q & A responses below: What model/type is UPS #11? Model ACDEF40 does not tell me anything. Is this the Powervar UPS? Yes, it is a Powervar. See attached service tag. How many battery strings are there on each UPS and how many batteries per string are there? Please see attached document labeled UPS Inventory for Contract for the number of batteries. Will you accept qualified over certified per their requirements below (PWS section 11.0 Contractor Qualifications) due to only the OEM being certified. Yes. Who currently provides contracted maintenance services on these systems? There is currently no contract. All maintenance and repairs are done by VA Electricians or contracted out on a case-by-case basis. For the Medicanix MCS4480MS- please confirm you just want annual preventative maintenance & load testing on this contract & not the weekly or monthly testing that would correspond with the generator testing or to alleviate the noted concern about over cycling your batteries by too much testing in Appendix E.  Otherwise if we are to test these on a monthly basis, then please provide anticipated runtime @ 25% for each Medicanix Unit for a monthly test. The reference to generator in Appendix E is referring to the battery backup unit itself, not a traditional fuel-powered generator. Please test the referenced unit according to the specific instruction in Appendix E, excluding the Weekly Testing portion only. The anticipated runtime at 25% is not known currently. Why is the opportunity unrestricted and not Small Business Set Aside? This is a resolicitation of the previous opportunity 36C25025Q0170 that was not set aside. Appendix E lists multiple load tests, can you confirm which quantity we re required to complete? Please complete the monthly and annual testing only for the Medicanix units. Section 2.0 in the PWS specifically excludes the weekly test, Weekly testing will be conducted by facility or clinical staff and is excluded from the contractor's scope. Weekly tests will be performed by facility staff. For the load test, are they to be completed during normal or after hours? Load tests shall be performed during normal hours. Are to PM these units as well or only load test? PM and loads tests shall be performed as specified by the PWS and OEM specifications. Is the generator part of the project, or is that maintained in-house? I don't see a separate CLIN for it. The generator is not a part of this contract.
