Scope of work: INTRODUCTION Manchester VAMC, NH is in need of an updated, campus-wide BIM (Building Information Modelling) Facility Model. This project will serve to produce three-dimensional scans of the entire campus, and subsequently an updated, usable Revit model of the facility. It shall be the Contractor s responsibility to identify the applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Directives and apply the procedures and protocols, as required. The project includes, but is not limited to, providing materials, tools, survey procedures, and qualified and competent personnel for conducting a three-dimensional scan and subsequent development and delivery of a Revit BIM model (.rvt file). PROJECT STAFF-TBD SCOPE AND PROJECT TASKING The contractor shall perform a 3-D LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) scan of all accessible spaces of the facility campus, including mechanical rooms, storage rooms, etc. This includes coordination with COR regarding personnel in occupied spaces, access to secure spaces, and post-scan modelling. No confined spaces are to be included in this scope. Above-ceiling scans will be performed only in already-exposed areas; contractor shall not include removal and replacement of ceiling tiles in fee proposal. For the purposes of schedule and fee proposal, Contractor will allow for off-hours work, as needed, to facilitate scans of high-traffic areas. Further, Contractor will break-out proposed fees for each individual building, in addition to an overall fee proposal for all proposed work. Contractor will work with COR to determine suitable scheduling and sequencing to ensure minimal disruption to the facility s ability to provide continual, and consistently excellent care to veterans. DELIVERABLES Submittals: Contractor to provide task-based project schedule within 10 business- days of NtP. Contractor to submit credentials of qualified personnel and scanning methodology within 5 business-days of NTP. Final Deliverables: Contractor to provide VA-approved FTP site for purposes of transferring large files (e.g. Procore, etc.) Contractor to provide un-processed scan data (point cloud, surface mesh, etc.) in .e57, .rcp, or equivalent. Contractor to provide separate .rvt BIM files (Central Models) for each above-listed building. Contractor to include the following in .rvt model: Spaces and space tags, including room, occupant, department, room SF area, flooring/wall/ceiling finishes, etc. Furniture/equipment information (generic item description, location, quantity, etc.) All BIM models and files will be drafted and submitted in accordance with VA BIM Standard BIM Manual V2.2. See appendix A. Contractor to provide virtual tour, including 360° panorama within each scanned and modeled space. Contractor to provide Facility Model, referencing each building s individual Central Model. Contractor to provide Content Library, complete with all wall types, doors, sinks, etc. found in all delivered Central Models, as well as all associated Families and any additional Families typically used in design of a healthcare facility.
