In order to comply with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs and related requirements regarding competitive negotiations of professional services, the Porter County Redevelopment Commission is seeking Statements of Qualifications for the provision of planning services relating to a Historical Preservation Plan. The firm selected will be involved in the following activities on behalf of the commission: Hold Public Meetings to seek input of the residents on the preservation efforts Determine the historic character of the property that shall be retained and preserved Determine the distinctive features, finishes, and construction techniques that shall be preserved Determine the significant architectural resources that should be preserved Determine funding sources for the historical preservation of the lodge Determine future operating and maintenance options for the lodge Complete a Plan for approval of the Redevelopment Commission, the Porter County Commissioners, and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
