Project Location: The project is located along a missing link of Vale Park Rd on the Citys west side. Nearest intersection on the west end: Vale Park Rd and Winter Park Drive. Nearest intersection on the east end: Vale Park Rd and Windsor Trail. Project Description: The Vale Park West Pathway project is a critical link identified in the 2010 Valparaiso Pathways Master Plan Update. The approximately -mile multi-use pathway will be constructed through undeveloped property that is currently a missing link of Vale Park Road. It will connect residents from the Citys west side to an extensive network of pathways and destinations to the east. At least on bridge is anticipated due to Beauty Creek and associated steep terrain. Preliminary Engineering, Right-of-Way, and Construction Engineering services are being sought to determine the appropriate alignment, design construction plans, acquire the necessary right-of-way (2 parcels), and provide construction inspection. No additional specifications were given.
