Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform annual safety test following the standards set forth by the American National SafetyCode ANSI, A17.1 for elevators.Operate, inspect, lubricate and furnish individual inspection certification reports to AssistantDirector of Maintenance for each location listed below. The contractor is to provide all supplies,equipment, tools and labor necessary to perform general maintenance in accordance with industrystandards.Examine elevator equipment for optimum operation. Examination, lubricationand adjustment to include the following components of the elevator:o Control and landing positioning systemso Signal Fixtureso Machines, drives, motors, governors, sheaves, and wire ropeso Power units, pumps, valves, and jackso Car and hoistway door operating devices and door protection equipmento Loadweighers, car frames and platforms, and counterweightso Safety mechanisms
