Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Quotes is to acquire all services and supplies or equipment from qualified proposers to provide Cooling Tower Water Treatment at the locations below, which are owned by the Beaufort County School District. Description of Services to Be Supplied: - Preliminary services will include a complete detailed engineering survey of all phases of the facility where water treatment is necessary. - Start-up services will include a representative present each day for as long as necessary. Regular Services: - Monthly service visits, which will include a complete set of analysis of pertinent samples. - No additional service charges. - Use of non-heat transferable corrosion test coupons. Corrosion testing on a continuous basis where applicable. - With proper prior notice (one week), a representative will be present each time equipment is open for inspection. - Bacteriological test on a monthly basis. - Service visits at least once per month and as needed. - Semi Yearly Review of Treatment Program and Performance Update. - Corrosion Coupon studies should be performed on a regular basis. Corrosion studies give us the necessary information as to how the inhibitor is working and whether we should adjust inhibitors. - Bacteria plate counts should be made on each visit to determine if bacteria has grown immunity to any one biocide. Results should be received within 48 hours. - Biocides should be alternated to ensure effectiveness.
