Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contract consists of sewer cleaning and televising, including proper disposal of material containing Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) at concentrations less than the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory limit of 50 mg/kg. The debris will be transported to the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility (SSWRF) where it will be prepared for appropriate disposal and transported to a certified landfill. Closed Circuit Televising (CCTV) inspection of the segment will be used for confirmation purposes, compliant with the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) standards. In addition, approximately 10 feet of a private connection within the segment will need to be inspected; compliance with the NASSCO Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP) standards is not required. In addition, the casting for MH 07804 at South 36th Street and Lincoln Avenue will be replaced with an Owner furnished casting. The work includes traffic control, flow control, material disposal costs, and all required permits. Unit prices will not be renegotiated for this Contract.
