Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms to provide Flooring Services. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) the services described herein: furnish all transportation, supplies, materials, services, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary for the Epoxy Floor Overlay; A. Mechanically prepare floor by bead blast scarification to create a minimum level concrete surface profile (CSP) – three (3) millimeter thickness anchor profile. B. Vacuum to obtain a clean, porous surface for the application. C. Install BASF Mater Top 1213 Integral Coving. D. Install slope to drain before installing resinous flooring. E. Repair existing floor imperfections using an epoxy grout. (Or equivalent to). F. Overlay the floor with BASF Mater Top 1213 Epoxy System. (Or equivalent to). G. Scrub, clean, mechanical sand, and then apply two (2) coats of Prosoco SLX100. (Or equivalent to). H. Supply a generator to supply required power for this project. I. Always keep work areas clean and free of debris. J. Remove all debris daily from the CHP premises. Contractor shall arrange for satisfactory supervision of the Agreement work and shall bring to the attention of the CHP any problems that should be corrected, including preventative maintenance. This is not a responsibility for the CHP.
