Specifications include, but are not limited to: RNC Commodity Contract for Two (2) Outboard Motors and Installation Services for the completion of performance as contained herein. OUTBOARD MOTOR TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE SPECIFICATION NO. 44-A-19; INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR TWO (2) OUTBOARD MOTORS; These outboard motors will be used by the MPD to power a primary vessel of the MPD Harbor Patrol Unit. This vessel will be a critical part of the RNC waterborne security team. 1) ENGINES: a. Two (2) 300 Horsepower 8-cylinder 4-stroke gasoline powered engines. b. Heavy duty lower units with 1.85 to 1.0 gear ratio and 5.44” gear case. c. Four (4)-blade stainless steel counter rotational propellers. 2) SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE: a. Digital smart gauges interfaced to vessel marine electronics via NMEA 2000 standards. b. Digital throttle and shift functionality. c. Electro hydraulic power steering system capable of operation with either single or both engines engaged in the event of single engine loss during operations. System must include all necessary components, power pumps, pistons, fluid and reservoir lines, engine linkage, etc. d. Integrated GPS speed-based active trim technology for improved performance, fuel economy, and ease of operation. e. Wideband oxygen sensor for accurate air/fuel ratio at high Rotations Per Minute (RPM). f. Fully integrated manufacturer specified Man Overboard (MOB) virtual lanyard system for three (3) crew and up to four (4) additional passengers. 3) INSTALLATION: a. Installation by fully certified manufacturer specific technicians. b. To include all wiring, wiring harnesses, and modules necessary for fully functional and integrated engines, steerage, trim, and safety systems.
