These events occur approximately 2-3 times a month and are generally, although not always, in evenings and on weekends. The photographer would capture candid and editorial images of the event such as participants in conversation, musicians and performers, and public speakers. , Supplemental lighting may or may not be used, depending on the assignment. In limited cases, the photographer might also set up an onsite photo shoot for staff photos or similar functions, where supplementary lighting and other equipment is used. Images are then lightly edited by the photographer and used for marketing and social media, editorial in print and online, grant applications and reporting, and retention in the museum archives. As an art museum, the Chazen is interested in an editorial style to include striking imagery, storytelling through images, and creative use of compositional elements. Images should be publication quality, in both composition and technical standards.
