Specifications include, but are not limited to: 15.7.1. CHASSIS: Twenty-four (24) months / unlimited mileage. 15.7.2. ENGINE: Five (5) years / 250,000 miles covering one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor. 15.7.3. TRANSMISSION: Five (5) years / 250,000 miles covering one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor. 15.7.4. MODULE STRUCTURAL: Apparatus module shall be guaranteed to maintain its structural integrity for the life of the vehicle, covered by a lifetime transferable modular body structural warranty. The term transferable covers the transfer of the warranty to a second (2nd) purchaser should the department sell this unit later. The lifetime structural warranty period shall also remain in effect should the modular body be remounted onto a new chassis. This remount must be performed at a service center authorized by the original manufacturer. 15.7.5. PAINT: Seven (7) years prorated warranty, to include but not limited to: 15.7.5.1. Peeling or delaminating. 15.7.5.2. Cracking or checking. 15.7.5.3. Excessive loss of gloss. 15.7.5.4. Corrosion. 15.7.6. MODULE ELECTRICAL: Seven (7) year non-prorated electrical warranty that covers the multiplex system, circuit boards, harnesses, switches, circuit breakers, and relays covering one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor. 15.7.7. APPARATUS CONVERSION: One (1) year unlimited miles or three (3) years / 36,000 miles, following the date the apparatus is placed “In Service” by the Purchaser. 15.7.8. SUBCOMPONENT WARRANTY: Warranties shall be supplied to the Purchaser, for any parts/components installed on the apparatus that are manufactured by third (3rd) party vendors and have warranties that differ from those listed above. 15.7.9. TOWING: and/or pick-up and delivery of the apparatus shall be included for any of the above warranty items 15.7.10. WARRANTY START DATE: Warranties will not start until the apparatus is one hundred percent (100%) completed, accepted, and placed in service by the Purchaser. The Purchaser will not accept an apparatus at less than one hundred percent (100%). 15.7.10.1. The Purchaser shall have two (2) months to place the apparatus in service after they accept delivery. The Purchaser will notify the Seller of the “In Service” date and mileage.
