Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) all personnel, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, permits and licenses necessary to provide Pallet Jack and Lift Maintenance and Repair Services at seven (7), Sacramento Area Office locations. A. Contractor shall possess and maintain a valid Business License throughout the term of the Agreement. B. Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements found in this Agreement (Exhibit E). C. CHP has the right to add and/or delete equipment; add/delete/revise the model/serial number(s) as needed without an amendment. Updated information shall be provided to Contractor by the CHP Materials and Stores Supervisor/Designee when necessary. 2. The services shall be performed at the various locations ; The services shall be provided during: Normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on the days agreed upon by both parties, except for official State observed holidays. A. Maintenance Services: 1) Inspect generator/alternator, starter, fan and general belts, carburetor, tires, wheel lugs, tilt cylinder lever and all hydraulic cylinders for leaking, steering linkage, all connecting shafts and levers, engine, crankcase vent, and perform operational check of machine. 2) Check ignition system. 3) Check and top off where necessary, battery, tower hydraulic oil level, master cylinder, transmission and differential. 4) Clean lube fittings, air cleaner, gas filter where possible, and radiator with compressed air. 5) Lube entire machine, oil generator and starter, where necessary. 6) Replace engine oil, oil filter and air cleaner, as necessary. (Cost for items shall be included in preventive maintenance fee). 7) Provide manufacturer’s required maintenance on two Clark Stand Up Forklifts. B. Repairs: 1) The CHP Project Representative, identified in Scope of Work, item 4, shall be notified prior to performing any repairs. 2) The CHP shall pay Contractor for any parts replaced during repair. 3) The Contractor’s regular rate, as specified in Exhibit B, shall be limited to actual onsite time within ¼ hour.
