Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Outagamie County Development & Land Services Department is seeking proposals for Professional Land Surveyor services. These services include general “County Surveyor” duties, PLSS perpetuation & maintenance, and technical surveying services. General County Surveyor Duties: • Perform duties specified under Wisconsin Statutes Section 59.45. o NOTE: County staff will continue the practice of managing the Surveyor record keeping responsibilities (filing and provision of records), including the filing of PLSS tie sheets, plats of survey, and other survey records. Surveyor shall coordinate with County staff who file, maintain, and provide customer service for county survey records. Ensure information is shared to comply with statutory requirements. • Serve on and regularly attend the Outagamie County Land Information Council. • Attend Wisconsin County Surveyor meetings. • Assist Wisconsin DOT and/or National Geodetic Survey in developing a statewide global positioning system (GPS), including ensuring the preservation of HARN stations. • Maintain a minimum of four consecutive in-person office hours per week at the Outagamie County Development and Land Services Department.
