Specifications include, but are not limited to: Columbia County (County) hereby requests sealed bids for an Evaporator Plate-Plate Heat Exchanger for ClimaCool-Module # 3 at the Courthouse in Portage, WI. • Provide (1) Evaporator Plate-Plate Heat Exchanger for ClimaCool-Module # 3 • Provide 2 Liquid line Filter Driers • Isolate condenser water piping and drain from chiller • Isolate chilled water piping and drain from chiller, recover in clean barrels for reuse • Recover R-410a refrigerant from Circuit # 1 into clean vacuumed tank for reuse in system • Disconnect all piping from evaporator heat exchanger, remove heat exchanger and install new • Reconnect all piping to new heat exchanger • Replace liquid line filter driers on both circuits and pressure test all new connections using nitrogen to check for leaks and repair as required • Evacuate system thoroughly to hold below 500 microns on both compressors, • Recharge Circuit # 1 with recovered refrigerant • Verify no leaks on compressor connections, connections to heat exchangers and heat exchanger connections to piping systems • Perform full startup of new module and verify operations in the “Spring”, April or May. (The unit is being installed during winter months and “cooling” season hasn’t begun.)
