All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Optics Primary side (Beam side). Copper tube source, a 2-bounce Ge (220) crystal and a 4- bounce Ge (400) crystal on the incident side, and a 4-bounce Ge (220). b. Sample Stage. High-resolution theta-theta Goniometer capable of coupled and uncoupled scans with a step resolution of below 0.0002 degrees, range should be from 0 to 150 degrees. c. Horizontal Sample Stage and Eulerian Cradle. The stage should be large enough to accommodate a 4-inch wafer with precision Phi, X-, Y- and Z-control. An additional XY stage at least 85 mm sample stage for mapping and an ability to do spot analysis. d. Detector side Optics. Large-area detector for 0D, 1D and 2D modes of operation. Must be fast and have a very small pixel size. The active area should be at least 2500cm square. A detector must be able to mount horizontally and vertically. Analyzer crystals should be a 2-bounce Ge (220). e. Computer and Software. Needed to perform and analyze phase identification with database, Xray reflectometry, rocking curves, reciprocals space maps, patter peak refinement, structure modeling and simulation, pole figures and texture analysis.
