Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain information that will allow the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (“SWIB”) to select one or more consulting firms to provide non-discretionary consulting services related to SWIB’s investments in alternatives managers. We are seeking advisor(s) across multiple asset classes for multiple services. Initial Operational Due Diligence Evaluation and Risk Assessment. The firm will independently evaluate the operating environments of prospective investment partners by: Conducting on-site meetings with the partners’ management and investment management personnel to gain an understanding of the firm, its facilities, infrastructure, and internal control environment. Performing background checks on the partners’ principals as well as key investment, infrastructure, and finance personnel, including searches for any criminal, civil, and regulatory issues. Obtaining detailed understanding of organization structure, governance structure, key processes, technologies, infrastructure, and service providers. Identifying and evaluating partners on areas of perceived weakness.
