Specifications include, but are not limited to: The demographics of the older adult population are becoming more diverse within Milwaukee County. With this change, the need for social and recreational programs and services are changing, as well. The Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services – ADS Unit (“Aging” or the “Unit”) seeks organizations that have the experience and ability to provide services to older adult refugees such as case management, translation, interpretation, outreach and access services to older adult refugees, including residents who have become United States Citizens. We seek innovative ideas on how we can meet the needs and expectations of the current older adult population and a clear vision on how to serve tomorrow’s older adults as well. Previous experience with the older adult population is preferred, however, not required. Responses from recreation departments, other units of government, non-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations are welcome.
