Specifications include, but are not limited to: Portage County Wisconsin requests proposals from a qualified vendor to provide Jail Food Service to inmates at the Portage County Jail. Provide three meals a day to inmates – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The meal pattern will be cold breakfast, hot lunch and hot supper but can be adjusted upon approval from jail administration. There will also need to be a nighttime snack provided for the juvenile population. Meal delivery shall be set at a time mutually agreed upon between the vendor and jail administration. Meals must be nutritionally balanced and tasteful. Special diets are medically required for inmates; the vendor will be required to accommodate those special diets at no additional cost to the County.
