Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a warranty to cover all components furnished. The vendor shall agree to replace and install without charge within the warranty any defective parts or any parts not suitable for the service intended. All warranty work shall be picked up by the vendor within forty-eight (48) hours of notification by the City and delivered within forty-eight (48) hours of completion of repairs. In addition, all factory authorized recall work shall be picked up and delivered by the vendor at no cost to the City. Warranty period to begin when each vehicle is placed into service by the City. The minimum warranty requirements are as follows: A. BUMPER-TO-BUMPER: Minimum three (3) years, or 36,000 miles; one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor on the entire vehicle, no deductibles, with exceptions for tires, service adjustments and consumables. B. POWER TRAIN: Minimum five (5) years, or 100,000 miles. one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor, no deductibles. C. EMISSION SYSTEM: Minimum eight (8) years or 80,000 miles on the powertrain control module, emission diagnostic device, and catalytic converter(s). D. CORROSION: Minimum five (5) years, unlimited miles. E. SAFETY RESTRAINT: Minimum five (5) years, 60,000 miles. F. HYBRID UNIQUE COMPONENTS: Minimum eight (8) years, 100,000 miles, one hundred percent (100%) parts and labor to include high-voltage battery packs, highvoltage charger, DC/DC converter, electric drive module assembly (includes electric motor and gearbox), trans range. II. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS A. TYPE: SUV, all-wheel drive, with a minimum factory rated advertised capacity of 6,400 lbs. POWERTRAIN: Hybrid, gasoline/electric minimum 3.0 liter displacement, automatic transmission, standard as equipped for specified model configuration. C. AXLES: Standard as equipped to meet the minimum GVWR, full time all-wheel drive (AWD), or a selectable feature of automatic four-wheel drive. D. WHEELS and TIRES: Standard as equipped for model configuration, and specified GVWR, to include full face wheel covers, one (1) full size spare wheel and tire, equal to the other four (4), equipped with identical tire pressure monitoring sensor. An appropriate jack and lug wrench shall be provided with each vehicle purchased. E. INTERIOR: Standard as equipped, with black vinyl floor coverings, heavy-duty black cloth front seats and black vinyl second (2nd)-row seats. No third (3rd)-row seats. F. EXTERIOR: Black in color. G. OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT: NOTE: The option package numbers for a Ford Police Interceptor Utility have been provided. Options or packages for alternate manufacturers must provide functionality equal to or greater than those specified. 1. 43D: Dark Car Feature, courtesy lamps disabled when any door is opened. 2. 65L: Wheel Covers, 18” five (5)-spoke full face wheel covers with metal clips. 3. 18D: Global Lock/Unlock, door panel switches will unlock all doors and liftgate. Eliminates overhead console liftgate unlock switch and forty-five (45) second timer. 4. 55F: Remote Keyless-Entry Key Fob (w/o keypad, less PATS), includes four (4) fobs. 5. 85R: Rear console plate, contours through the second (2nd)-row floor area. 6. 549: Mirrors, heated sideview. 7. 47A: Police Engine Idle, allows ignition key to be removed while engine remains idling and prevents shifting out of park position. 8. 16D: Badge Delete, deletes “Police Interceptor” badging on rear liftgate. 9. 19K: H8 AGM Battery, 92-amp/hr 850cca
