Specifications include, but are not limited to: The improvements project will update and upgrade the existing Regan Hospital from its current 1980’s medical facility to a modern behavioral healthcare facility emphasizing staff and patient safety, well-being, and care. The improvements are primarily focused on ligature risk mitigation; however, it will bring the building into compliance with the latest building codes, FGI requirements and program. Once completed the facility will be able to care for up to 78 psychiatric patients: seven units of 11-12 patients spread across four (4) floors. Additional improvements include the first floor cafeteria, patient courtyard, building tower roof replacement, elevator modernization, exterior building façade and window upgrades.
