Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant shall characterize the existing conditions in Sauk Creek corridor using field investigations, historical data and site information provided by the City. The Consultant, or team working on the study, shall have experience/qualifications in: • Ecological restoration of the natural communities typical in the Southern Wisconsin landscape including forest, savanna, grassland and wetland communities • Managing natural areas in Southern Wisconsin • Ecological restoration in urban, stormwater environments • Using methods of ecological assessment which may include floristic quality metrics, Rapid Assessment Method (RAM), and/or coarse level metrics of ecological attributes • Certified arborist • Coordination with stormwater engineers for interaction between vegetation and stable urban stormwater conveyance • Channel stabilization with natural methods or urban stream restoration • Developing maps in ArcGIS
