Specifications include, but are not limited to: The general scope of work for the Project includes, but is not limited to, utility coordination and relocations; earthwork; construction of a hardened channel (concrete, shotcrete, or both); installation of large storm drain system; installation of pre-cast or castin-place bridges and/or box culverts, or both; and guardrail, handrail, grading, paving, driveway matchups, and hydroseeding. The current conceptual plan calls for two drainage alignments: 1) concrete/shotcrete channel, and 2) the storm drain system. Both will extend from the National Forest Boundary to the Copeland Detention Facility. However, this plan is subject to modification, given that the project engineer is approaching the 30% level at the time this RFQ is issued. Maintaining good community relations during construction in these neighborhoods is critical to success.
