Specifications include, but are not limited to: Priority 1: Support the implementation, enhancement, or revision of Delaware CTE Programs of Study (POS). Eligible recipients may apply for grant funds to support: • Revision of state approved CTE Local Model Programs of Study. Applications MUST: o employ the state model revision process; o apply the secondary to postsecondary connections gap analysis tool; o include culturally responsive practices in the program of study objectives; o include a minimum of one postsecondary opportunity for students; and o include a plan to implement/expand participation in the Work-based Learning practicum (17.00601015 or 17.00802015) course, which should include anticipated enrollment targets. Preference will be given to revision plans that: o include more than three (3) programs of study; include collaboration with other LEAs to conduct the review process; o include participation in the PIPEline – Racial Equity Sub-Grant for Local Education Agency (LEA) and Student Cohort; o include participation in the PIPEline to Career Success for Students with Disabilities (SWD) Sub-Grant for Local Education Agency (LEA) and Student Cohorts; and/or o include participation in the Micromessaging to Reach and Teach Every Student SubGrant. • Year One: Local Model Programs of Study review planning. The upper limit for each grant award is $15,000. • Year Two (only available starting in October 2024): Local Model Programs of Study review implementation. The upper limit for each grant award is $25,000. • Participation in the DOE led review process of an approved Delaware CTE State Model Program of Study. The upper limit for each grant award is $20,000. o Applications MUST specify the State Model program of study under revision in SY24 and the names of participating teachers. o Applications can include support for teacher participation in the DOE led state model program of study review process. o Applications can include support for teacher professional learning related to the respective state model program of study under revision in SY24. • Implementation of a new State Model Program of Study. The upper limit of each grant award is $20,000. o Applications MUST include support for teacher participation in DOE led state model program of study professional development. o Applications can include the purchase of supplies and materials needed for implementation. o Applications can include curriculum resources needed for implementation. o Applications can include participation in the PIPEline – Racial Equity Sub-Grant for Local Education Agency (LEA) and Student Cohort. o Applications can include participation in the PIPEline to Career Success for Students with Disabilities (SWD) Sub-Grant for Local Education Agency (LEA) and Student Cohorts. o Applications can include participation in the Micromessaging to Reach and Teach Every Student Sub-Grant.
