Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Closed Circuit Television Installation Services. furnish all transportation, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, services, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary for Closed Circuit Television Installation Services; The services shall be provided during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Schedule to be determined by the CHP Facilities Coordinator, Area Commander, or designee and the Contractor.. Office is open for business on weekdays, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Contractor shall check-in and check-out with the CHP on-site contact person or designee each day. A. Provide and install four (4) 4.0 Megapixel minimum Outdoor Day/Night 2.8 mm minimum or varifocal lens IP camera, Turret Dome Camera. B. Provide and install one (1) 4.0 Megapixel minimum, Outdoor Day/Night 2.8 mm minimum or varifocal lens, Bullet Camera. C. If cameras cannot be hardwired, a point-to-point (PTP) wireless solution can be used with Aruba, Cisco, or Ubiquiti. Contractor will need to verify that power is available and that all required equipment can be installed at the locations needed. C. Cameras located near vehicle gates need to be of a quality to read vehicle license plates during the day and night. D. Provide and install Network Video Recorder (NVR) with Video Management Software, USB thumb drives for pulling recordings and NVR must include a minimum of 120 days of storage, at 30 frames per second, or higher. E. Provide and install two security camera monitor that is commercial grade 50" or larger, Light Emitting Diodes (LED) color monitor or equal with wall mount bracket and wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. F. Provide and install Cat 6 or better cabling to accommodate security system. Equipment shall be rack mountable in the server room and is prohibited from being installed or connected to the CHP network or computer system. Contractor shall not install any software on CHP equipment. If the Area staff requests the Contractor to connect to the CHP network or computer system, Contractor shall immediately contact the CHP Headquarters Facilities Coordinator for direction.
