Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Identify concept design options for the replacement South Park Pool: a. Incorporate splash pad and all its operational systems in design. b. Include Interactive play in design. c. Incorporate restrooms/bathhouse for both swimmers and park users. d. Incorporate year-round space for recreation programming in pool bathhouse. e. Include community and neighborhood engagement with design options. 2. Identify replacement/renovation options for Splash Pads at Terry, Highland, Castle Rock, and North Parks: a. Evaluate construction costs for spray to drain, spray to store (reuse), and recirculating systems. b. Evaluate operational costs for spray to drain, spray to store (reuse), and recirculating systems. 3. Identify replacement/renovation options for wading pools at Pioneer and Hawthorne Parks: a. Evaluate construction costs for converting to splash pads or continuing to operate as wading pools. b. Evaluate operational costs for converting to splash pads or continuing to operate as wading pools. c. Identify play value for splash pads vs. wading pools.
