Specifications include, but are not limited to: ITS Field Device Maintenance – The work under this area includes maintenance of a variety of devices and systems and shall be performed as specified and in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction (Current Edition) and the attached special provisions (Attachment E-Special Provisions Specifications). The Department considers only standard specifications, supplemental specifications and interim supplemental specifications issued directly from the Department as valid for this contract. Configuration and Asset Management – The work under this area provides a variety of configuration and asset management services. This includes entering and updating Traffic Operations Asset Management System (TOAMS) data, spare part inventory management, and generating performance reports. Fiber Optic Communications Network (ITSNet) Support Services – The work under this area consists of supporting the ITSNet physical infrastructure to ensure the fiber network continues to operate at the highest level possible and to prevent the network from being unavailable to stakeholders such as the Division of State Patrol and University of Wisconsin. Work will also include part-time staffing to provide services for ITSNet documentation needs. Electrical Shop Support Services – The work under this area provides a variety of miscellaneous support services for the WisDOT Electrical Shop, located in Madison, WI or West Allis, WI. Note, the West Allis, WI location will be moving to Waukesha County or Milwaukee County in the next two years. Traffic Signal and Traffic Control Device Support Services – The work under this area provides support for traffic signal modifications associated with communications per the request of Regional traffic engineers or electricians. RWIS Maintenance and Support Services – The work under this area monitors the RWIS system to identify malfunctions, provided maintenance support for RWIS servers and Remote Processing Units (RPU), and replaces or repairs non-functioning RWIS field equipment. Flex Lane Maintenance and Support Services – The work under this area includes maintenance of devices identified with the Flex Lane on the Madison Beltline (US 12/US 18) that includes Lane Closure Signs (LCS), microwave detectors, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and communication infrastructure.
