Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be expected to drill and install three (3) new hand pump wells at the designated locations sufficient to provide potable water for the facilities. Construction and installation of the wells must follow appropriate Wisconsin Administrative Codes including but not limited to ATCP 79 and NR 812. The contractor will also be expected to decommission an existing well located at the Otter Lake Picnic Area. Drill and install one new hand pump style well for potable water at New Wood Campground located at N4781 State Road 107, Merrill. The well will be centrally located in the campground on the west side of the main access road through the campground. Drill and install one new hand pump style well for potable water at Otter Lake Campground located at N9060 Otter Lake Road, Gleason. The well will be located at the west end of the campground. Drill and install one new hand pump style well for potable water at Otter Lake Picnic Area located at N8896 Otter Lake Road, Gleason. The well will be located in the picnic area. Decommission the existing well in the Otter Lake Picnic Area located at N8896 Otter Lake Road, Gleason. Hand pumps must have adjustable stroke length for ease of pumping water from varying depths. Monitor 11HDS with 2 ½” cylinder and syphon spout or similar type. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all mechanical equipment, personal protective equipment, labor, materials, transportation, tools, certifications, and licenses necessary to complete the job.
