Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maintain a safe pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow around buildings, roadways, and parking lots at the Las Vegas ConvenƟon and Visitors Authority during events. REQUIREMENTS A minimum staffing requirement of least twenty (20) personnel, including supervisors, is mandatory, with minimum of one (1) week noƟce prior to the event. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience providing traffic control support for large events and/or convenƟons in Clark County, Nevada. Recruit, test, train, and schedule temporary traffic staffing. Coordinate all work acƟviƟes with LVCVA Traffic Manager or their designate. Schedule staff based on LVCVA providing detailed staffing needs. Ensure staff are fully qualified to perform traffic control duƟes safely and competently. Staff shall report to work with all required equipment and supplies necessary to execute their duƟes regardless of weather or lighƟng condiƟons. This includes, but is not limited to reflecƟve vests, flags, flashlights, and stop signs. LVCVA does not provide any uniforms or required supplies. Staff shall always be neatly aƫred and well‐groomed and shall not smoke or uƟlize cell phones while on post. Customer service is criƟcal. Staff shall always treat the public, LVCVA, and other Contractors on site courteously and professionally. Staff shall comply with all applicable City, County, State, Federal, and OSHA regulaƟons. Provide an on‐duty manager for every event. Staff shall not represent themselves as LVCVA employees. Provide invoicing and detailed billing (by posiƟon, name, start and end Ɵmes, regular and overƟme hours, and rates) to LVCVA within 5 business days from the end of the billing week. Staff deemed by LVCVA to be incompetent or ineffecƟve shall be immediately replaced.
