Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Identify methods to improve the community’s emergency management capability through efficient use of resources, improved coordination, and cooperation with other communities and with the State and Federal governments. b. Determine the Village’s capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from major emergencies. c. Ensure readiness of Village Emergency Operations Center (EOC). d. Verify internal and external alert & notification procedures. e. Identify training gaps for Village staff and volunteers and implement a training plan for staff and volunteers.This includes annual coordination with the training program manager. f. Assist the Emergency Management Coordinator with the 2-year emergency management operation update in accordance with the Dupage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and FEMA g. Assist the Emergency Management Coordinator with identifying equipment, technology or tools that would better assist the Village of Lisle in order to maximize preparedness.
