Specifications include, but are not limited to: The state of North Dakota, acting through Workforce Safety & Insurance (the STATE or WSI) is soliciting proposals with the intent of adding vendors to the existing Ergonomic Initiative provider list. These additional vendors will be located only in specific geographical regions. WSI has identified 2 regions in the state that lack an adequate number of vendors to provide sufficient coverage to the employers in these regions. These areas include region 3 and 6 (please refer to attachment 3 for a map of these regions). Only vendors that are physically located in one of these 2 regions will be eligible to submit a response to this RFP. WSI has seen a steady number of ergonomic related injuries each year and is focusing on preventative measures to assist employers in controlling these costs. The on-site services provided are part of WSI’s Ergonomic Initiative Program, which is offered to all qualifying employers in the state. The Ergonomic Grant Program is a subsequent program related to the Ergonomic Initiative. This program is available to WSI customers and successful offerors may also provide services to employers in regards to this program. September 28, 2022, a Request for Proposal was issued that established the initial vendor pool. Current vendors are not required to resubmit a proposal.
