Specifications include, but are not limited to: Existing Storm Sewer Pipe Cleaning The Contractor will clean the existing storm sewer pipe to remove all sand, silts, debris, etc. Satisfactory precautions will need to be taken to protect the existing infrastructure and any damage will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Pipe Lining Installation The Contractor will line the existing storm sewer pipe with a UV CIPP line. The liner must include the following: fit tightly and continuously line the existing storm sewer pipe, a maximum thickness of ½ inch, UV-light cured, and is non-toxic once cured. The liner must meet ASTM F 2019. Cut or grind off any intrusions into the pipe flush with the pipe interior wall before installing the liner. Trim the liner to length according to the manufacture recommendations. Provide a smooth transition taper at each end of the pipe liner. Do not leave gaps between the liner and the host pipe. Quality Assurance and Acceptance The Contractor is ultimately responsible for the workmanship and quality of the installation. Inspections by the Owner or others do not limit the Contractor’s responsibility. Diligence shall be taken to ensure that equipment, hardware, fixtures, materials, etc., are protected. Inspect and record the pipe after the pipe has been cured. Provide an electronic copy to the Owner. Such damages shall be corrected at no expense to Owner. Upon completion, the site shall be left in neat, orderly condition.
