Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will respond to cleaning the NDDOT east parking lot including the portion of the parking lot that extends to the frontage road including the truck parking area when snowfalls of two (2) inches or greater are experienced. Snow is to be stored at the edge of pavement area immediately east of the parking lot. The gutters at the parking lot islands will be cleaned free of snow during each snow removal. Within the contractor’s capability, the parking lot will be cleaned by 6:00 AM for storms that terminate after 12:00 midnight. Final cleanup and removal of excess snow buildup will be the responsibility of state forces. Snow removal equipment minimums should be as follows: 2 yard or greater AWD pay loader 50 HP skid steer, 2-speed with snow removal equipment such as bucket, blade, or broom If conditions require – access to at least a 185 HP, 6X6 motor grader If conditions require – access to a tandem axle dump truck for hauling snow. Certificates of insurance should include 1) Commercial Liability 2) Automobile Liability; and 3) Worker’s Compensation.
