Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking bids for the leasing of a Hematology Analyzer with a minimum of six (6) part differential to replace the existing unit and intends to use the results of this process to award a single Contract. Refurbished, demoed, or used analyzers are not covered under the scope of this bid and will not be considered. Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI) intends to utilize this bid to lease a new hematology analyzer for the MMHI laboratory located at 301 Troy Drive, Madison, WI 53704. The MMHI laboratory is currently leasing a hematology analyzer with 6-part differential for routine testing. The Complete Blood Count (CBC) on the hematology analyzer currently includes the following: White Blood Cell (WBC), Red Blood Cell (RBC), Hemoglobin (HGB), Hematocrit (HCT), Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH), Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC), Platelet Count, Red Cell Volume Distribution Width (RDW-CV), and Mean Platelet Volume (MPV). Additionally, current testing includes a 6-part differential in absolute and percentage numbers of Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophiles, Basophils and Immature Granulocytes (IG). The MMHI laboratory is also interested in assessing the feasibility of adding and reporting an Atypical Lymphocyte Count if available.
