Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of this request for proposals includes the following: • Harbor soundings and mapping and for the project area. • Preparation of a conceptual dredging plan to begin the state and federal permitting process. • Sediment testing to determine where dredging materials can go. • Preparation of a final dredging plan for the construction phase. • Complete plans and specifications necessary for the bidding of the dredging work. Provide the county a digital set of plans and specifications as part of your proposal price. • Coordinate with Fond du Lac County staff to review dredging bid proposals, written bid tabulations and provide a written recommendation for a contractor to complete the dredging project. • Securing of necessary state and federal permits by the project consultant. The County will secure any necessary town and county permits for the project. • References including contact names and telephone numbers and documentation of similar projects. • List of key staff assigned to this project and billing rates. • Include all reimbursables within the proposal cost, including mileage, telephone, copying, etc. Please note that the County is working on securing location(s) for the dredging spoils. This information will be made available as Fond du Lac County secures these partnerships.
