Specifications include, but are not limited to: Monday-Friday • Plowing of parking lots and driveways highlighted in orange on Appendix A o Frequency: after a 2” or greater snowfall o Frequency: less than a 2” snowfall – as requested by the Facility Manager o All plowing must be completed before 6:30 am and as needed throughout the duration of the Day. o Emergency access must be maintained during school closures and holidays. • Salting and/or sanding of parking lots and driveways o Frequency: as deemed necessary by vendor or as requested by Facility Manager o Salt/sand should be applied to all open traffic roadways, service lots, and in front of main entrances. o No sidewalks need to be done as part of the scope of work Monday-Friday. The campus staff will clear the sidewalks. • Northwood Tech does not have a location to park and plug in vendor’s equipment. There is a possibility that an arrangement could be worked out with the Facility Manager. Sundays (beginning 1/1/2024) • Plowing of parking lots and driveways highlighted in orange on Appendix A o Frequency: after a 2” or greater snowfall o Frequency: less than a 2” snowfall – as requested by the Facility Manager o All plowing must be completed before 6:30 am and as needed throughout the duration of the day o Emergency access must be maintained during school closures and holidays. • Salting and/or sanding of parking lots and driveways o Frequency: as deemed necessary by vendor or as requested by Facility Manager • Sidewalks need to be done as part of the scope of work on Sunday (beginning 1/1/2024) as there are no campus staff available on Sundays. The vendor would be required to maintain and clear the sidewalks, apply salt/sand to all open traffic roadways and service lots as highlighted in purple on Appendix B. • Northwood Tech does not have a location to park and plug in vendor’s equipment. There is a possibility that an arrangement could be worked out with the Facility Manager.
